Avelia FAQ: team fit, getting started, and company control

Frequently asked questions

Team fit, getting started, and control over your sales workflow

What does Avelia do for our sales team?

Avelia brings account research, outreach, and meeting booking into one workspace. Nora handles routine work so your team can focus on buyers, relationships, and commercial decisions.

How much control do we have over Nora?

Your company sets Nora’s autonomy and approval boundaries. Automate routine work and require human review where it matters. Your team remains responsible for the offer, the relationship, and the decision.

Is Avelia only for large enterprises?

No. Avelia is built for growing B2B businesses, mid-market teams, and larger organisations, starting at five users. Your team can begin with one sales motion and expand as needed. You do not need a separate enterprise operations team to start.

What is the minimum team size?

The minimum is five users. Those users can work across sales, product expertise, and operations. We scope the starting workflow around your offer, target customers, and the work you want Nora to handle.

Do we have to approve every message?

No. Your company chooses which actions Nora can take independently and which require review. You can automate routine work while keeping selected communications and commercial decisions with your team. Applicable contact rules and safeguards still apply.

Can we use Avelia outside Europe?

Yes. Avelia supports B2B sales across markets, including teams selling outside Europe. Nora can adapt conversations to the buyer’s language and context. We review the channels, setup, and contact requirements for your target markets when defining your workflow.

How do we start with Avelia?

Start with a 30-minute discovery call. Bring your offer, one target buyer group, and the workflow you want to improve. Before a pilot, we agree the scope, channels, review boundaries, success criteria, and commercial terms. We confirm pilot duration and pricing with you before starting.

How is Avelia different from a lead database or email sequencer?

Avelia connects account research, product answers, value selling, inbound qualification, and booking around the same lead history. Nora supports several sales functions, while your company sets which actions run independently and which need review. The aim is to reduce the handoffs between tools and people throughout the sales journey.

Does Nora work only from a static lead list?

No. Nora helps your team understand the account, relevant business developments, and the people involved in a buying decision. Your team can request updated research before approaching the account, with supporting sources available to review.

Can Avelia support conversations with different people at the same account?

Yes. Nora helps your team speak to different stakeholders in terms relevant to their responsibilities and questions. Keep the account relationship connected while giving each buyer a relevant conversation. Your team chooses who to approach and what needs review.

What happens when the buyer’s reply changes the conversation?

Nora can adapt the next response to the buyer’s questions and the discussion so far, rather than simply continuing a fixed script. Your team decides which next steps she can handle and which need review. The conversation can continue across connected channels.

Can pricing and contract questions always stay with our team?

Yes. You can keep selected commercial decisions with a person while delegating other work to Nora. Product information helps Nora explain your offer, while your approval boundaries determine who handles sensitive actions. More autonomy for routine work does not require handing over every commercial decision.

How should we measure whether Avelia is useful?

Agree the measures before starting a pilot. Useful measures include time spent preparing accounts, follow-up completion, review effort, and qualified meetings. For inbound quizzes, follow submissions through calendar opens, bookings, and confirmed held meetings when an outcome is recorded. Email volume alone does not show whether the sales journey is improving.

Where is our customer data stored?

Core customer data is stored in the European Union. Connected AI and communication services have their own processing locations. We can explain the arrangements for your deployment during a privacy review.

How does Avelia protect personal data?

Avelia helps your company handle personal information responsibly and manage privacy requests. We discuss your data protection requirements and the safeguards relevant to your setup before you start.

Can we choose the AI provider?

Provider options can be discussed around your company’s requirements. We review available choices and their data-use terms with you as part of defining your setup.

Can we review and export Nora’s activity?

Yes. Your team can review recorded actions, approval decisions, and blocked steps, and export activity records for internal review. This helps you understand what happened and maintain oversight.

Can we set our own data retention periods?

Yes. Your company can set how long contact information is retained and manage deletion requests. We help you review these settings against your business and data protection requirements.

How does Avelia support transparent AI conversations?

Nora speaks as an AI agent, not as a human salesperson. Avelia supports AI identity disclosure for direct conversations. Our Article 50 guide explains the transparency requirements and how they differ from privacy and outreach rules.

How are privacy requests and opt-outs handled?

Avelia supports opt-out records and erasure workflows so privacy choices can inform future outreach. For access, correction, or deletion requests concerning Avelia, contact privacy@avelia.ai.

Is meeting booking built into Avelia?

Yes. Buyers can choose a time through Avelia’s own booking pages. Booking works within the sales workflow, keeping the next step simple for your team and the buyer.

Can visitors use the website without accepting analytics cookies?

Yes. Optional analytics stay off until accepted. Visitors can browse and book without them, and change their choice through Cookie settings.
